Meet MEL Electric Inc

MEL Electric Inc was started by Matt Lopez as part of his natural progression forward in the industry and his desire to provide the best customer service and quality with upfront pricing you can count on.

The company was started from the ground up with Matt and one helper in 2015 working out of a garage, and has since grown to over 10 full time employees with a full shop and office where employees and customers can meet. There is a full-time office staff that is always available to help in any way.

Each crew member receives additional training by Matt and factory training for products we are a direct dealer for with a focus on customer service and quality work, as well as continuing education courses that include code changes.

Matt Lopez

Owner/Electrician

Matt Lopez is a California state certified Napa electrician that was in the field for over 15 years before starting his company, involved in just about every aspect of the electrical world. He is also great at finding and fixing existing electrical problems.

His seven-year formal training covered all aspects of the commercial and residential electrical industry as well as light industrial. He graduated from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee in Napa.

Matt is very easy to work with because of his respectful nature and great attitude. He takes the time to listen to his clients to understand what will work best for them. He treats every client like they are the only one that matters. While trying to save the client money where he can, Matt always puts customer service and quality before anything else.
